Stab-Binding is an ancient form of book making that originated in the Far East, and was the most common bookbinding method from the 14th to the 19th century.Essential, the name describes the method. Once assembled, the book is bound by stabbing holes down the “spine” side, and sewing in specific ways through the holes. The book opens flat and can be used horizontally or vertically for photo albums, scrapbooks, visual/written journals and more.
