The Drawing Board in Montpelier is seeking a Frame Shop Assistant to join our dedicated and knowledgeable team. This position is part-time (20-28hr). An ideal candidate would be comfortable working with customers and with a wide range of artwork. Tasks include cutting mats on our computerized mat cutter, drymounting items, helping customers design frame projects, assisting in keeping the shop orderly & clean and making phone calls. Due to the nature of the work, the ability to see a full range of colors is needed for this position. We will train the right person. Pay based on experience. Range $18-$20 to start. Interviews before March 15th, start date late March. (This position can be combined with the Picture Frame Maker position to make it a full time job.)
